Fairway Training has often been invited into practices to provide in-house training for the individual Practice Manager/pensions administrator. This flexible service is suitable for those who are unable to access our standard courses or who prefer more intense, hands-on, one-to-one training. In the relaxed atmosphere of your own office, we go through as many aspects of NHS Pension Scheme administration as time allows, using our Training and Reference Manual as a guide. The particular advantage of this approach is that the Pensions Online facility allows the possibility of training taking place with your own data. So in reality any records that are incorrect or not updated can be dealt with immediately in this learning environment. Many find that the complexities of the Pension Scheme are easier to absorb on a one-to-one basis.

The training can either be half a day or longer depending on how much you can 'take in' in one go! A half day consultancy session would allow for only basic Scheme aspects to be covered, while longer would enable us to cover more features and eventualities. We would leave you with your own copy of our Manual and strongly recommend the follow-up of our Support Service, especially for the new or inexperienced Practice Manager.
