This is the most comprehensive package offered by Fairway Training Ltd and no matter how large or small your Practice, we have a package that will suit you. With a portfolio of over 365 GP Practices we offer a fully outsourced payroll service specifically tailored to the needs and requirements of GP Practices. Apart from a few minor exceptions our payroll business is solely for GP Practices.

Backs approved

As a BACS approved payroll bureau, the actual processing of payments is also included within the service.

What does the service include?

  • Facilitating the initial set up in conjunction with Practice utilising payroll software back up data and excel spreadsheets.
  • Full Gross to Net Payroll calculations including: SSP/ SMP/SAP and SPP administration
  • Compliance with all statutory requirements using Inland Revenue approved payroll software
  • Production of pressure sealed payslips for distribution
  • Production of monthly reports detailing gross to net breakdown
  • Reports can be either electronic or hard copy
  • Ad hoc reports as required
  • Payments to staff by BACS using BACS approved software
  • Payments to the Inland Revenue via BACS
  • Production of all Inland Revenue documentation using the Government Gateway i.e. P45, P46. P38S etc
  • Production of NHS Pension Scheme GP1 and submission to the NHS Business Services Division
  • Completion of all NHS Pension Scheme documentation via Pensions Online (Leavers, Retirements, Preservations, Refund, Ill Health Applications, Voluntary Early Retirements, Transfers, Death in Service)

Annually

  • Completion of all NHS Pension Scheme year end documentation via Pensions Online
  • Production of all Inland Revenue documentation using the Government Gateway i.e. P14, P35, P11, Plld etc
  • Production of P60's for distribution to staff

General help and information on the NHS Pension Scheme will be available via the payroll team and Pensions in Practice newsletters. Staff newsletters will still be issued on a quarterly basis.

Your responsibility

Your responsibility is to send us a summary of your staff hours and any other relevant changes on a monthly basis by the 7th of the month (negotiable) to enable the pay to be processed. You can e-mail or post the information. This will be by completing an Excel spreadsheet (timesheet), which we will supply for you. Information such as extra hours, mileage, sickness absence is reported on the timesheet.

How much does the service cost?

Costs are assessed on the number of employees in post on 1st April each year or at the commencement of the contract and invoices issued quarterly.

Due to ongoing exceptional demand and the continuing success of our payroll services, the next available start date for new clients will now be October 2012.
