The payroll service offered by Fairway Training Ltd incorporates all aspects of payroll and NHS Pension scheme administration, no matter how large or small your organisation.

 

With a portfolio of over 842 clients we offer a fully outsourced payroll service specifically tailored to the needs and requirements of the client. Apart from a few minor exceptions such as charitable organisations, our payroll business is aimed GP Practices, Independent Providers, New Fair Deal Employers, PCNs and Other NHS Organisations.  

 

We have a very experienced and friendly team of staff dedicated to providing you with the highest level of service. We pride ourselves on our ability to adapt to both your local and national requirements. Your payroll will be produced each month by one of the specialist payroll teams which will comprise of up to six members and is headed up by one our knowledgeable and experienced Payroll Supervisors.



BACS information

 

As a BACS approved payroll bureau, the actual processing of payments is also included within the service. We run BACSTEL-IP approved software and every two years we are inspected by PayUK to ensure we comply fully with their stringent requirements to be an approved bureau.



What does the services include?

  •  

    The initial set up is completed by utilising your own payroll software back up data (where possible) and bespoke Excel spreadsheets provided by Fairway. This is undertaken by our specialist 'New Business Team' which is dedicated to ensuring a smooth transition to Fairway Training payroll administration.

  •  

    Full Gross to Net Payroll calculations including: SSP/SMP/SAP and SPP Administration.

  •  

    Compliance with all statutory requirements using HMRC approved payroll software.

  •  

    Real Time Information (RTI) compliance which includes Full Payment Submissions (FPS) and Employer Payment Summary (EPS) submissions.

  •  

    Production of electronic payslips via the innovative PayDashboard platform. Hard copy payslips are available for individual employees via their own personal PayDashboard account.

  •  

    Production of monthly reports detailing gross to net breakdown, HMRC payments and NHS Pension payments plus any bespoke requirements.

  •  

    All reports are produced electronically, either in PDF or Excel format and are delivered via our website.

  •  

    Payments to staff by BACS using BACSTEL-IP approved software which includes the HMRC required BACS Hash Tag to comply fully with RTI and assist in the Universal Credit process.

  •  

    Payments of PAYE and NIC monthly payments to HMRC via BACS (BACSTEL-IP).

  •  

    Production of all HMRC documentation using the Government Gateway i.e. P45, RTI starter declarations etc.

  •  

    Payroll Journals for uploading to your accounts package (if required).

  •  

    Production of NHS Pension Scheme GP1/RFT1 reports and direct submissions to the NHS Business Services Division (NHS Pensions then instigate a Direct Debit payment)

  •  

    Completion of all NHS Pension Scheme documentation via Pensions Online. These include the following areas:

    • Leavers and Joiners
    • Contribution Refunds
    • Ill Health Retirement
    • Retirements
    • Voluntary Early Retirements
    • Transfers in to and out of the Scheme
    • Preservations
    • Death in Service
    • Pensions on Divorce

    Our experienced Pension Team compliments our Payroll Team in delivering many aspects of the NHS Pension Scheme.



Annually

  •  

    Completion of all NHS Pension Scheme year end documentation via Pensions Online including the SD55 annual update exercise.

  •  

    Production of all HMRC documentation using the Government Gateway facility such as P11Db and P11d forms.

  •  

    Production of digital P60's via PayDashboard.
